What you`ll do

Industry Product Engineering (IPE) is SAP's central development unit for industry capabilities, driving an SAP-wide end-to-end industry mandate and enhancing LoB scenarios with cutting-edge BTP applications. Industries have always been a key differentiator for SAP, maintaining their importance for RISE and GROW. IPE will increasingly focus on the SAP ERP Cloud, while supporting SAP’s largest customers in their RISE transformations.
As a global highly collaborative team, we are seeking a talented and passionate cloud developer who wants to temporary join our team located in St. Ingbert as a substitute for a colleague who is going on parental leave.

The Role

You will support the team by designing and implementing the next generation of SAP Intelligent Clinical Supply Management (ICSM) product development together in collaboration with other development units around the globe with a focus on Cloud and AI developments.


As a Developer your tasks include:

• contributing to all phases within the entire development cycle (plan, design, implement test and operate the functions you are responsible for)
• using latest methods to ensure very good quality by writing clean, maintainable and efficient code
• developing new concepts and designs together with the team
• participate in the operations of the delivered product by responding to incidents and doing root cause analysis
• supporting the team when needed by taking on additional technical or organizational tasks

What you bring

• University degree in computer science or related fields (such as business informatics, bioinformatics)
• 4+ years of proven software development experience with a strong focus on cloud developments and service architecture with a passion to built high quality applications which are reliable
• Proficiency in relevant technologies such as JavaScript, SAP CAP, SAP Fiori Elements, SAP BTP Cloud foundry runtime and SAP HANA Cloud
• You show a self-motivating style of working combined with a continuous learning mindset
• As a teamplayer you bring the ability to work in a culturally divers and virtual team
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German is mandatory


Optional

• DevOps knowledge with experience in technologies like Jenkins, Piper and other tools used by SAP pipelines.

As part of Industry Product Engineering team (IPE), you will play a key role in driving our industry product portfolio for Life Science forward through excellence in product developments, maintenance, operations, and strategic project engagements

Please note that this position is limited to a maximum of 7 month.
