You will synthesize market signals, shape solution strategies, and commercialize offerings through scalable go-to-market assets and campaigns. Expect to define, grow, lead, and coach. You'll set clear goals, track progress, and translate insights into action so customers realize tangible value and the business grows.
Overview
The Chief Business Officer (CBO) is accountable for driving continuous improvement in the MEA-N Cluster, focusing on achieving profitability targets. The role covers adoption of standardised shared services processes, methodologies and tools, direct regional revenue, and accelerated growth in fast-growth markets.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Drive Revenue Growth
- Align regional shared services resources to achieve profit targets
- Serve as proxy for Regional GM/MD, managing sales opportunities and exceeding revenue targets
- Exceed Annual Software/Cloud and SSRS Revenue Targets across all customer segments
- Exceed Annual Operating Income (Profit) Target and Customer Satisfaction Target
2. Value-Centric Approach
- Provide cost-effective tools and scalable resources for deal road mapping, business planning, and solutions value blueprint
- Drive enablement and integration of new solutions and methodologies across the organisation
3. Operational Excellence
- Deploy enablement acceleration model, especially in Fast Growth Markets
- Implement a shared services delivery model and understand market requirements
- Establish regional shared services and FGM performance metrics
- Drive adoption of common processes: time entry, budgeting, expense management, margin monitoring
4. Leadership Excellence
- Manage performance — address under-performers, recognise top performers
- Provide timely communications and remove barriers to progress
- Build and develop a high-performing team within annual budget
- Identify and groom successors; influence creation of effective teams and coalitions
- Develop and retain talent, ensuring professional growth and high employee satisfaction
Qualifications
- 15+ years of Enterprise Software/Cloud Industry experience
- 10 years of Sales leadership in Enterprise Application/Cloud software
- 3–5 years leading diverse operations/functional organisations
- P&L Management experience
- Proven track record building, leading, and retaining high-performing teams
- Executive sponsorship on targeted sales opportunities (preferred)
- Business strategy planning and knowledge management
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's / MBA preferred
