What You'll Build
Join our SAP Globalization team and work on the Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) platform, a large-scale enterprise solution that enables electronic invoice transmission, regulatory compliance monitoring, and audit capabilities across countries.
This role combines enterprise-grade backend and frontend development with modern cloud-native and AI-assisted engineering practices. You will:
· Design, develop, and maintain Java / Node.js–based REST APIs for the DRC Cloud Edition.
· Build UI applications for dashboards, compliance reporting, and data visualization.
· Design and implement scalable, cloud-native microservices and multi-tenant SaaS architectures on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using Cloud Foundry and SAP Kyma (Kubernetes).
· Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cline, GitHub Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation, while ensuring high code quality and correctness.
· Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud environments.
· Ensure reliability and quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
· Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate complex compliance requirements into robust technical solutions.

What You Bring
· Experience of 3-6 years working with cloud services.
· Strong backend expertise in Java and/or Node.js, with solid experience in Spring Boot and RESTful API design.
· Frontend development experience using JavaScript/React JS/HTML5/Open UI5 or similar modern UI frameworks.
· Cloud-native experience, preferably on SAP BTP, with exposure to hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Database proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL.
· Strong experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
· Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cline, Copilot), including the ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
· Solid problem-solving skills, strong collaboration mindset, and clear communication abilities.
Good to Have -
· Full-stack experience with SAP UI5/SAP Fiori Elements and SAP UX design guidelines.
· Experience designing and building multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
· Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) or regulatory compliance domains.
· Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
· Prior exposure to Kubernetes-based platforms such as SAP Kyma.
