What you’ll build:

In this role, you'll join a small engineering team in Brno, working closely with cross-site teams in Walldorf to deliver and evolve data integration technologies within the Technology Foundation at the ABAP Platform. This is your launchpad into enterprise software development. You'll learn ABAP and data integration technologies from the ground up — supported by experienced colleagues who will guide your growth every step of the way. You'll start by working on well-defined development and support tasks — writing code, fixing bugs, analyzing customer incidents, and learning how large-scale integration solutions work in practice. Step by step, you'll take on more complex topics and grow your independence. Alongside development and support, you'll learn how to work in an agile team, collaborate across locations, and contribute to discussions on technical approaches and quality standards. You'll collaborate daily with your Engineering Manager, Product Management, and peers in Walldorf — building not only your technical skills but also your ability to communicate and work effectively in an international environment.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals - any language is a good starting point
  • Interest in enterprise software, data integration, or platform technologies
  • Analytical mindset - you enjoy understanding how things work and solving problems systematically
  • Team player with good communication skills in an international setting
  • Curiosity, motivation, and readiness to take ownership of your learning journey
