What you'll do:
As a work-study student within the sales organization at SAP, you will be involved in:
Sales Support:
- Assist sales teams in managing customer accounts.
- Participate in the preparation of commercial offers in collaboration with sales managers.
- Manage the renewal of On-Premise maintenance contracts within the Public sector.
- Handle order processing for On-Premise products, particularly upselling on BI Business Objects products.
Market Analysis:
- Contribute to market analysis and competitive intelligence.
- Support the identification of business opportunities and industry trends.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Participate in customer relationship management by ensuring regular follow-ups and collecting customer feedback.
- Maintain and update the customer and prospect database in the SAP Harmony system.
Partner Relations:
- Manage commercial coordination with BI On-Premise partners.
- Monitor partner payments to unblock accounts and enable new orders.
- Handle invoicing management for partner contracts.
Training and Development:
- Follow internal SAP training programs to develop your skills in sales and customer relations.
- Participate in the organization of SAP and partner events (trade shows, etc.).
What you bring:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree through a work-study program.
- Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong interest in sales and customer relationship management.
- Good understanding of software and technology solutions, preferably in the IT sector.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Dynamic, autonomous, and motivated by continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to a demanding professional environment.
- Proficiency in IT tools and management software.
Where you belong:
You will be part of the General Business team in Levallois. This team focuses on mid-sized companies (existing clients with less than €1 billion in revenue) and Net New Name accounts (non-SAP ERP clients). It also works closely with a partner ecosystem (representing 80% of our business).
Additionally, the team collaborates with a broader network including distribution partners, pre-sales teams, experts, and industry organizations (all dedicated to various ERP products).
Our market is also integrated with the Digital Sales team based in Barcelona. Mid-sized companies are split between key accounts handled in Levallois and volume business managed in Barcelona. All are under the responsibility of the Head of General Business in Levallois-Perret.
Desired Start Date: September 2026
Apprenticeship Duration: 24 months
Preferred Apprenticeship Rythm:
- 2 weeks in company / 1 week at school
- 3 days in company / 2 days at school
This contract is subject to remuneration in line with the applicable collective agreement (Convention SYNTEC).
