What you'll build

As an Apprentice AI Business Process Developer for SAP Cloud ALM, you will be an integral part of our Business Process Authoring team, contributing to the development of groundbreaking applications and services on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). SAP Cloud ALM, our flagship solution, plays a pivotal role in supporting the complete application lifecycle for all SAP solutions. Your responsibility will be to collaborate with our dedicated SCRUM team to conduct research, prototype, and implement a tool leveraging business processes to automatically generate reports and advice for Application Lifecycle Management.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the SAP Cloud ALM development Business Process Authoring team and local researchers to develop innovative apps as POCs.

• Gain hands-on experience in generative AI development, focusing on BPMN use cases.

• Research, prototype, and implement a tool using generative AI helping users compare, upgrade, and optimize their business processes.

• Assist in the creation of microservices, libraries, and user interfaces, playing a key role in shaping the future of SAP Cloud ALM.

What you bring

• University Level: MSc in Computer Science

• Good skills in modelling, analysis, and programming (Python, JavaScript, PHP, Java, …)

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) desirable

• Fluency in English (working language)

• Abilities in organizing meetings and contacting people

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Ability to write documents in English and synthesize information

This apprenticeship is based in SAP Labs France (Mougins), located in Sophia-Antipolis, where you will join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in SAP Cloud ALM development.

Duration: 12 or 24 months

Start date: September 2026

This contract is subject to remuneration in line with the applicable collective agreement (Convention SYNTEC)
