Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you’ll build

·

· You will help SAP customers in your region turn emerging SAP BTP, SAP Build, and AI capabilities into real, production-intent solutions. This role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, product innovation, and technical feedback—shaping both successful implementations and the future direction of SAP’s platform.

· You will lead and support complex customer implementations using SAP BTP technologies, including intelligent applications, AI-enabled workflows, custom agents, SAP AI Core integrations, and modern automation patterns.

· You will work closely with product managers, development architects, and customer stakeholders to guide implementation projects based on the latest SAP technologies and evolving product capabilities.

· You will stay on top of new product releases and assess how they fit specific customer scenarios, including design trade-offs, technical feasibility, and adoption readiness.

· You will translate customer engagements into structured product feedback and work directly with Product Management and Architecture teams to influence roadmap, priorities, and field readiness.

· You will help create repeatable reference implementations, technical assets, and enablement content that accelerate future customer adoption and strengthen the broader team.

What success looks like

· You help customers move from exploration to successful, production-intent implementations on SAP BTP.

· You turn implementation learnings into reusable patterns, stronger field enablement, and actionable product feedback for SAP teams.

· You act as a senior technical voice in customer conversations and help raise confidence in SAP’s ability to deliver AI-enabled business value on BTP.

What you bring

· 14+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, solution architecture, or related technical roles

· Strong hands-on experience building cloud applications, backend services, and enterprise-grade solution architectures

· Solid experience with one or more modern languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java

· Strong experience with AI/LLM-based application patterns, including orchestration, prompt design, and retrieval-based approaches

· Strong SAP BTP application development experience and familiarity with SAP application development frameworks

· Ability to work directly with customers, architects, and senior technical stakeholders to guide design decisions and implementation trade-offs

· Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

· SAP Build development experience

· Familiarity with workflow automation and orchestration tools

· Exposure to agent frameworks and emerging interaction protocols

· Experience contributing technical feedback into product strategy or roadmap discussions

· Additional language skills relevant to the region

Where you belong

As BTP Regional implementation Group (RIG), we make early technology adoption at customers real. We are a hands‑on unit within the BTP Product Management, which accelerates customer adoption of the latest SAP technologies, supporting customers to define and implement AI‑centric scenarios. These early adopter projects will validate product innovations in the field, create repeatable, production‑intent reference cases, and tangible product feedback early in the product lifecycle
