What you`ll do:

Summary:

We are looking for a DevOps/MLOps Engineer who can design, automate, and optimize the delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems across SAP. You will enable scalable and secure AI deployment by building state of the art CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and observability frameworks. The ideal candidate combines software engineering depth with a passion for automation operational excellence.

The Role:

In this role, you will work closely with AI Product Owners, AI engineers, data scientists and architects to streamline the deployment and operations of AI and generative AI services and solutions. You’ll develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems and cloud based environments that ensure reliability, security and scalability. You’ll play a central role in SAP’s AI delivery, enabling faster experimentation, delivery, compliant deployment and efficient operations across products. You’ll thrive in an agile, collaborative environment that values continuous learning, engineering excellence and innovation, helping shape the next generation of enterprise AI solutions at SAP.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML workloads

  • Develop and automate infrastructure provisioning across multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)

  • Manage container orchestration and monitoring using tools like Docker, Kubernetes and MLFlow

  • Build and maintain observability frameworks for model and service monitoring, logging and alerting.

  • Ensure reliability, scalability and security of AI systems in production

  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to automate model training, deployment and versioning

  • Contribute to MLOps best practices, including testing, rollback strategies, and compliance with governance standards.

What you bring:

  • Degree in computer science or a similar field

  • Advanced coding skills in Python (preferred) or similar scripting language, with solid understanding of software engineering principles

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps toolchains MLOps platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, MLFlow, Kubernetes)

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for AI/ML deployment

  • Fluent English and a proactive, problem solving mindset

Nice to have but not a must

  • Familiarity with multi-agent or generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI)

  • Familiarity with SAP AI Core, SAP BTP

  • Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)

  • Understanding of Agile, SAFe methodologies and collaborative engineering practices

These skills are a plus. If you don’t have experience in all these areas, we’ll provide the resources and training you need to become a leader in cutting-edge AI technologies.
