Job Description

We help the world run better

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

What you`ll do:

SAP’s central Software Accessibility and Design Team is looking for a new talent to start their accessibility career in accessible software design and development. Together with a diverse, international team you shape and run SAP’s software accessibility guidance.

The Role:

You will work in SAP’s central accessibility team to support SAP’s global product design and development teams with guidance, consultation and enablement assets to delivering accessible applications. You have a strong focus on our users’ and customers’ needs from both a product and business perspective. You observe global accessibility legislation, industry best practices, technological innovation and bring that into scalable central guidance. You will be a reliable partner for our product experts and practitioners and help them in coming up with the best solutions.

At SAP, accessibility is powered by team-spirit, collaboration, a global expert community, a central test team, and a strong corporate commitment. This position opens the opportunity to grow into the next generation of Accessibility Leadership at SAP.

What you bring:

As we build the next generation of SAP’s User Experience, we are looking for a passionate team-player with skills in mobile accessibility and strong user focus. This role is an entry point to grow into an exciting matter.
The following topics should be of your interest and basic skillset:

  • external accessibility standards like W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, ARIA, etc.
  • screenreader JAWS and NVDA and platform accessibility features
  • accessibility testing guidance
  • accessibility support of SAP’s UI technologies
  • consultation and learning offerings for designers
  • excellent communication and presentation abilities, complemented by a high proficiency in the English language

Meet your team:

SAP’s Software Accessibility and Inclusive Design Team works from Germany, Bulgaria and the US. We are passionate to make SAP software accessible and easy to use. Team-Play is our North Star and we are holding ourselves accountable to Integrity, Respect, Partnership, Curiosity and Execution.

We are looking forward to meeting you!
