What you'll build

We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven ABAP Developer who is passionate to be part of the strong development team working on solving challenging problems of our customers with high quality standards.

• Contribute to S/4HANA Public Cloud based on cloud development principles and testing strategies defined by the program
• Work closely with engineering manager and be jointly accountable for the overall quality of the topics delivered by our SAP S/4HANA ECM Solution
• Manual testing, automation of developed backlogs, drive Quality processes and process improvements, ensure release delivery readiness.
• Additionally, focus on quality – functional, integration testing, exploratory testing, free style testing, Product standard test, etc
• Develop and execute automation scripts and contribute to overall automation strategy in the team.
• Take full responsibility for accepted tasks and demonstrate high standards on quality, speed, reliability and efficiency
• Ideate/Explore/Implement test automations to cover all scenarios and ensure zero regression
• Analyze issues created by stakeholders/customers and come up with an appropriate action plan with RCA and contribute to baseload activity.
• Work closely together with other team members towards one common sprint goal
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

What you'll bring

• Overall 3 to 6+ years of development and test experience in developing & testing Applications
• Degree/Masters Degree (BTech, MTech, MCA) in Computer Science or a related subject
• Development experience in ABAP stack (ABAP Objects, CDS Views, RAP, ODATA Services, FIORI, UI5). Experience with SAP S/4HANA development is highly desirable
• Working knowledge in all aspects of Software phases
• Troubleshoot functional and non-functional defects effectively, report and track defects
• Good understanding of different test methodologies, test strategy / concept creation
• Experience in designing software. Experience with Cloud development, Continuous Integration /Continuous delivery is an added advantage
• Hands-on experience in automation tools like ABAP AUNITS, SECATT, START, OPA and Selenium will be a plus. Test driven development experience is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts is mandatory
• Excellent collaboration and team building skills across different functional roles and locations
• Well organized and meticulous co-ordination skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong desire to work in high performing team

The Data Management and Innovation team is part of the S/4HANA Cloud Foundation, with members based in Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Shanghai.

We from Enterprise Content Management, which is located out of Bangalore lead key initiatives in the SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Content Management team unit driving innovation as a foundation topic. This enables applications of SAP S/4HANA to reuse document management capabilities in their business processes.
