Job Title: Mobile Field Service Representative

Working Pattern: Mon-Fri, 37 hours, days (Full time)

Working location: Coningsby (Onsite role)

Defence Deployed Services are searching for a new ‘Mobile’ Field Service Representatives to work across the Combat and Transport product space.

This role will have a “home” location in Bristol but will initially deploy to either RAF Coningsby or Qatar dependent upon experience and capability. This will be for an initial period of 2 years with possibility for extension subject to customer requirements. Opportunities to deploy to other locations are possible.

Defence Mobile FSRs are deployed on long term assignments in collaboration with Global Mobility to customer locations around the world. The ability and desire to work in deployed locations in the UK or overseas, either as a standalone Field Service Representative or as part of a multi-disciplinary team, is a key requirement.

What you will be doing:

In this role you will help resolve on wing and deployed maintenance repair and overhaul (MR&O) challenges in the field, aligned with customer contracted services. You will also:

  • Put safety first in everything you do

  • Proactively identify customer field support requirements, establishing routes to success such that aircraft can continue operation

  • Collaborate with the wider Deployed Services function to ensure RA4800 MAA and HSE regulatory compliance during your deployments to deliver safe maintenance

  • Help maintain customer satisfaction, including proactive driving of issues to resolution

  • Maintain in service customer relationships across various levels across the military and other contractor organisations

Who we’re looking for:

  • Extensive knowledge of Aerospace safe maintenance regulations

  • A customer first, responsive and flexible attitude with a desire to travel

  • Experience of aircraft propulsion (Gas turbine) field maintenance, repair and overhaul (MR&O)

  • A desire to make a difference and establish the next generation of Rolls-Royce deployed services

  • An RAF or Defence industry aircraft maintenance background with previous signatories or authorisations is highly desirable

Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
