Location: Indianapolis, IN

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

By joining Rolls-Royce in an Emerging Talent program, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Position summary:
During your two years on our Engineering and Technology Graduate program, you’ll gain invaluable insight into the breadth of our work and discover where you’d like to take your career with us.

You’ll join our Engineering, Technology and Safety organization (known as ETS), which supports all our different divisions. You’ll complete rotational placements, gathering experience across the engineering lifecycle and building capabilities such as mechanical systems, manufacturing, software and digital, electrical, materials and development. These rotations could be within our central Engineering, Technology and Safety teams or within our Civil Aerospace, Defence or Power Systems divisions. We want to give you a breadth of experience across Rolls-Royce to build your network, enable you to grow and help you find the best fit in our organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working on exciting and varied projects – across Engineering capabilities and programs

  • Using data, technology and AI to improve processes

  • You’ll develop through a mix of digital learning, on-the-job training and opportunities that bring your ideas to life in meaningful ways

  • Completing rotations that support a “design, make and verify” challenge set by business stakeholders and experiencing the full engineering life cycle from design through to manufacturing

  • Gaining hands-on, practical experience

  • Benefiting from the support of a dedicated career coach, who will help you create a personalized development plan and guide you towards achieving your full potential

  • Accessing opportunities to work towards professional qualifications and continuous learning

Who we’re looking for:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Material Science, Software Engineering and or related degree and graduation date December 2026 or May 2027

  • A strong passion for the future of technology

  • Ability to work flexibly which could include travel between Rolls-Royce sites and other locations as required

  • Being open-minded, curious and agile in your approach to work and career development

Our behaviors drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We’ll expect that of you, too.

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Work authorization eligibility: To be considered, you must also be a U.S. Citizen.

What we offer:

  • Meaningful work from day one, with the support to help you succeed

  • A culture that invests in your personal and professional development

  • The chance to grow your skills while working on real projects in a global company

  • A hybrid working environment with at least three days per week on site

Join us and help create the technologies that will shape tomorrow. If you're ready to learn, grow and make a lasting difference from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
