An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electronics Technician to join our team in Solihull.

As an Electronics Technician at Rolls-Royce, you will play a key role in our civil aerospace business by practically supporting a team who design, develop & maintain Control & Monitoring Units for Rolls-Royce applications. Key Accountabilities:

  • •Primary role of assembling Electronic PCB’s / Units to a high specification.
  • •Ability to follow standard operating procedures as required.
  • •Quality checks own work to ensure it meets the required standards and completes the relevant documentation accordingly.
  • •Raising of Non-Conformance documentation and assisting the Team and Management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • •Maintain all relevant operational control processes such as visual management boards and planning schedules.
  • •Maintains equipment by ensuring TPM, 5S, calibration is adhered to.
  • •Follows health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • •Works in an integrated team to achieve the cells targets.
  • •Other duties may be assigned by the Production Leader.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing operations & production environment.
  • •Good manual dexterity skills.
  • •Previous Aerospace manufacturing experience advantageous.
  • •Knowledge & experience of a wide range of inspection techniques.
  • •IT Skills (MES/Microsoft applications/etc).
  • The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
