    About the Role

The Marketing Executive plays a pivotal role in bringing our veterinary practices closer to their local pet-owning communities. Working together with Local Marketing Business Partners, Practice owners and the wider Marketing team, you will deliver regional and practice-level activity that fuels new client registrations, deepens engagement and upholds our brand promise of creating a better world for pets and the people who love them. Acting as the day-to-day “face” of marketing for our vet partners, you’ll manage campaign delivery, web and social content, and point-of-sale collateral while continuously looking for smarter, more efficient ways of working. Success calls for curiosity, resilience and the confidence to challenge constructively, especially when navigating shifting local priorities and varied stakeholder needs across our growing pet care platform.

Key Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing

    • Support and educate practice owners on local marketing activity, providing guidance on campaigns, social media, website content and promotional materials to drive client growth while ensuring brand consistency.
    • Deliver workshops, training and practical marketing support, capturing feedback and insights to continuously improve tools, resources and processes.
    • Coordinate regional and local marketing campaigns from briefing through to execution, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and aligned to wider business objectives.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, sharing recommendations and insights to improve future marketing activity.
    • Create, proof and manage content across multiple channels, including websites, email, social media and in-practice marketing materials, maintaining a consistent tone of voice and brand standards.
    • Brief and manage creative requirements with internal teams and external agencies, ensuring high-quality, compliant marketing assets are delivered efficiently.
    • Manage practice websites and email communications, optimising content and performance to drive engagement, registrations and bookings.
    • Improve marketing processes, systems and self-service tools to enhance the support experience for practices.
    • Manage point-of-sale materials, supplier orders and purchase order processes, ensuring effective stock control and financial accuracy.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, using data and insights to influence decisions and support business growth.

About You – What you’ll bring to the role

You'll be a confident and proactive marketing professional with experience delivering successful local or regional marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and growth. A strong communicator, you'll be skilled at building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, providing expert advice and influencing outcomes through a collaborative approach.

You'll bring excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, with the ability to create compelling content across multiple channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice. Comfortable working across websites, email platforms and social media, you'll have a good understanding of digital marketing channels and how to optimise performance through data and insights.

Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines with ease. You'll also be confident analysing campaign results, identifying trends and using data to make recommendations that improve future activity.

Experience in a multi-channel marketing role is essential, ideally within a retail, franchise, healthcare or other customer-focused environment. Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce, would be advantageous, as would experience supporting franchise or joint venture businesses. A marketing qualification such as CIM or IDM, familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and an interest in the veterinary or pet care sector would also be beneficial.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you.
