About you

You’ll bring a blend of technical data capability, sound risk judgement and strong stakeholder skills. You’ll be comfortable working in an agile way, using complex information to shape clear insight and explain what it means in a way that supports practical decisions. You’ll also be confident challenging constructively, coaching others and helping build data confidence across the team and wider division.

To join NFU Mutual, you’ll also bring:

  • Essential: Strong SQL capability, with experience using reporting or analytical tools such as Power BI

  • Essential: Experience improving data outputs beyond Excel, including data engineering, management information analysis, controls or assurance checks

  • Essential: A degree, equivalent qualification or relevant work experience in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science or a related field

  • Desirable: Practical Python skills, using code to support analysis, automation or insight development
