Finance Business Partner
About the role
At NFU Mutual, you’ll provide trusted financial partnering support to leaders across Customer Services. Working with stakeholders across the business, you will provide accurate management information and clear analysis that supports performance improvement, inform business decisions, and help deliver our long term ambitions.
This is a high profile opportunity to work with senior managers and executives across a large and complex division. You’ll lead and support planning from the initial baseline through to strategic direction, provide day to day financial advice and analysis, and constructively challenge assumptions to get beneath the issue.
The role offers real breadth. Alongside core business partnering, you’ll contribute to change activity, lead or direct focused projects and help strengthen financial processes and reporting. You’ll also have scope to build capability in newer reporting and planning tools, while helping demonstrate what excellent finance partnering looks like across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a visible partnering role where your insight, challenge and judgement will help shape better business decisions.
This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford Upon Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home.
This is a full-time role, with part-time hours considered. You may spend more time in the office during your early days in the role.
About you
You’re a self-motivated, proactive qualified finance professional or working towards a recognized accountancy qualification, who builds trusted relationships through collaboration and credible challenge. Inquisitive by nature, you look beyond the numbers, ask incisive questions and bring careful attention to detail. You communicate with clarity, take ownership of your work and are confident turning complex information into a compelling, accessible story for different audiences.
