AI and Analytics Senior Product Owner
Job Description
Job Title
- Shape strategy for analytics and AI products
- End-to-end ownership of high-value product delivery
- Enjoy hybrid working with 80% working for home and 20% in our Stratford Upon Avon head office
About the role
This role sits within a specialist team focused on delivering AI and analytics-enabled products that support underwriting decisions and drive measurable business value. As an AI and Analytics Senior Product Owner, you’ll take accountability for shaping the vision, strategy and roadmap for a suite of products and models, ensuring they contribute to improved risk selection, pricing support and operational efficiency across the business.
You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from identifying high-value opportunities and building strong business cases, through to delivery, adoption and benefits realisation. Working in close partnership with underwriting, pricing, data, analytics and technology teams, you’ll ensure solutions are embedded effectively into core workflows and deliver meaningful outcomes for users.
A key part of the role will involve leading prioritisation decisions across a portfolio of products, balancing commercial value, risk appetite, regulatory considerations and delivery feasibility. You’ll act as the product authority, setting clear acceptance criteria, overseeing governance and ensuring that outputs are robust, explainable and fit for purpose. Alongside this, you’ll play a pivotal role in stakeholder engagement, working closely with senior leaders to secure alignment, communicate progress and demonstrate value.
The team is responsible for delivering a structured roadmap of analytical and AI solutions, with a growing pipeline of models and decision-support tools. Initially, the focus will be more heavily weighted towards analytics, with increasing involvement in AI as capability evolves. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring products are effectively adopted, driving change and training plans, and continuously monitoring performance to inform future development.
About you
You’re a commercially minded product professional with experience delivering analytical or technology-led solutions. You enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, translating complex ideas into clear outcomes that create real impact. You’re confident engaging with stakeholders across different levels, and bring a proactive, adaptable approach to working in an evolving environment.
To join our team, you must also have:
- Experience in product ownership and/or project management
- Proven delivery of products or projects from concept to implementation
- Experience within analytics and/or AI environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Understanding of the insurance or financial services sector
