Job Description

We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including Facebook, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the NHS. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining pragmatic, innovative Salesforce solutions that enable and inform key decisions within every part of our business - including admissions, learning, marketing, sales, finance and operations. You will be the subject matter expert for all things Salesforce within the business, with a particular focus on Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.

This role will be within the Data & Insight team, but will involve much collaboration with other teams to help them leverage Salesforce to manage their operations. Initially, you will be seconded to our internal Business Operations team to support them and our Salesforce implementation partner, build and deliver our organisation’s Salesforce platform. You will need to quickly get up to speed with our problem statement, entity related diagram and our solution design. You will need to be methodical, creative and collaborative, with very high attention to detail and a pragmatic approach towards problem solving. We are a fast moving organisation, so the demands and scope of this role will likely evolve as we continue to grow. Flexibility and adaptability are therefore also key attributes to be successful in this role.

While working with our Business Operations team, you will also work with specialists in business process change and project management. As part of the Data & Insight team, you will work closely with colleagues specialising in data product management, data science, analytics development, data engineering and data solutions. While your initial focus will be on helping this team roll out Salesforce across the business, your longer-term responsibilities will include the ongoing development, maintenance and optimisation of Salesforce as a driver of efficiency and effectiveness across the entire organisation.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering colleagues to manage Salesforce environments, sandbox usage planning & system upgrades / version control

  • Act as Multiverse’s primary Salesforce system administrator, managing user provisioning, licencing & group membership

  • Monitor Salesforce system usage & proactively identify/mitigate system issues

User Enablement & Support

  • Design & deliver initial & ongoing training for different groups of Salesforce users

  • Monitor & respond to any Salesforce-related user issues/requests that are generated via Data & Insight team’s existing support processes

  • Upskill Data & Insight team colleagues, as well as selected ‘champions’ across the business, to act as Salesforce super-users, allowing them to share administration, training & support activities

What employees are saying

There is a lot of flexible working at Multiverse, especially since our work spans many time zones (US West Coast to UK); different folks work together at different times. I can plan early days when I need to connect with folks ahead of me (time zone-wise) or later on days when I'm working with US folks and doing heads-down work. I appreciate that my leaders know that I will get my work done, and if I need to go to appointments or take time mid-day, that is supported.
