We are Multiverse, a tech startup on a mission. Through apprenticeships, we’re building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training to develop a diverse group of future leaders. We are scaling our customer-base rapidly and, more importantly, now train over 8,000 apprentices. To drive that growth, we’ve raised a Series D of $220m to further expand our programs across the US and the UK! Today, we work with over 600 clients, including Meta, Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Citi and Microsoft… and we’re just getting started.

The Opportunity

tl;dr: Multiverse is looking for an exceptional Global Director of Apprentice Marketing to ensure potential apprentices are aware of who we are, excited to apply and complete our programs, and become incredible alumni advocates for the potential of apprenticeships to drive diverse future leaders.

Every week thousands of new candidates apply to be apprentices, we place hundreds of new apprentices on program, and celebrate the graduation of many apprentices into our alumni community. The apprentice marketing director will understand each of these audiences - making sure we’re using both creative and data-driven approaches to deliver against our mission of a diverse set of future leaders. You’ll partner closely with our sales, admissions, community, delivery, and product teams to drive incredible outcomes for our apprentice and apprentice managers.

In this role you will…

  • Own and execute on the global strategy for apprentice acquisition along with clear retention goals with your partner organizations - with a clear perspective on the role of apprentice manager in this strategy

  • Evolve our content and messaging strategy to speak to our 3 distinct apprentice audiences - career starters, career builders, and apprentice managers

  • Build key performance indicators for critical milestones across each audience - and develop and test and learn strategy for driving outsized improvements on those numbers over time

  • Develop flagship campaigns for prospective and existing apprentices that delight and excite - in partnership with the community team - underscoring the unique value of what it means to be a Multiverse apprentice

  • Be a subject matter expert in the role of gaining skills through alternative routes - and partner with our brand, policy, and communications teams to ensure those perspectives come through our entire GTM process

  • Partner with product, product marketing, admissions, and delivery teams to evolve the apprentice user experience - based on facts and data you see from your vantage point

As you will be leading a global function, this role will also include travel to your Co-HQ (either in London or in NYC) at least once per quarter.

The hard skills we are looking for:

  • 8+ years in a growth marketing, or related, role

  • You are a passionate manager of people with proven experience of developing a diverse & inclusive team for at least 3 years

  • You’ve are data driven and have owned large-scale growth strategy and goals - delivering against ambitious success metrics at the company or department level

  • You have significant demonstrated experience in B2C marketing across growth + performance marketing, social media, brand, content and communications

  • You have demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced, hypergrowth tech environment where you need to balance ever-changing priorities

  • You have experience working with both CRM and CMS management platforms

  • You are highly proficient in data and can conduct analysis and make recommendations to senior data partners to drive better performance tracking

  • You have in-platform experience working across our marketing technology stack (including paid search and social platforms e.g adwords and meta, marketing automation tools e.g. Iterable, and CRMs e.g. Salesforce), and can own the end-to-end execution of launching, running and reporting on paid media campaigns

  • You have a proven ability to work with high-expectation stakeholders and nurture those relationships through building trust and delivering results
