Your opportunity


We are looking for an experienced Technical Directors with Water Design Management experience specific to water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, drainage systems, pumping stations, water-retaining structures, and treatment facilities to join our team in Sydney. Our Water team in Australia have created some of the most commercially successful and iconic structures of the 21st Century. By joining our team, you’ll help to shape our cities’ skylines and turn vision into reality. You’ll join a global organisation and work with colleagues from all areas – many of whom are recognised as world-renowned authorities and experts in their fields.


Your role will involve extending your current experience on tenders / proposals to contribute to our team’s growth and direction and deliver multidisciplinary water design projects throughout the project life cycle to Australian standards with a focus on digital solutions. Additionally, you will be collaborating with your industry recognise skills to drive improvement and efficiencies in treatment plant operations that could reduce our community’s carbon and waste footprints and improve the environment in which we live in.

About you


You’re a collaborative leader and mentor and forward thinker looking for a new challenge, within a growing team and an interest in developing best practice with the local water industry. You bring extensive design management and design solution experience within a construction environment from detailed design to execution of the project. Some key requirements for the role include:

  • Chartered Engineer (or demonstration of path to achieving)
  • Experience in the planning and design of wastewater, water and stormwater assets; both major and minor works.
  • Experience of managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
  • Deliver client-ready design development reports with experience of detailed design and execution phase
