Your Opportunity

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Director – Renewable Energy to help grow and guide our New Zealand Renewable Energy team. This is a leadership role where your expertise will shape projects, inspire teams, and contribute to a cleaner, more resilient energy future.

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects—wind, solar, storage—and collaborate with colleagues across sectors and regions. You’ll also play a key role in developing client relationships, leading proposals, and driving innovation in energy strategy and delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage renewable energy projects across NZ and the Asia Pacific region
  • Provide technical direction and strategic input across wind, solar, and storage technologies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, impactful solutions
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of growth and inclusion
  • Contribute to business development and proposal preparation
  • Champion sustainability and regenerative outcomes in every project

About You

You’re a renewables specialist with a strong track record and a genuine passion for clean energy. You thrive in collaborative environments, value integrity, and are motivated by purpose.

You bring:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience in renewable energy project development, strategy, or delivery
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of the NZ electricity market
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and a commitment to teamwork
