Technical Director – Wastewater / Stormwater Modelling

About the Role
As Technical Director, you will lead strategic modelling and network planning projects that support long-term water infrastructure development across New Zealand. You will also mentor others, grow our market presence, and champion innovation in wastewater and stormwater solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new opportunities, proposals, and bids
  • Build strong client relationships and raise our profile in the water sector
  • Act as Project Principal, Manager, or Design Manager on key projects
  • Deliver high-quality technical outcomes and manage project resources effectively
  • Apply Chartered-level engineering expertise and navigate commercial risks

About You

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Geography, or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in water/wastewater modelling and network planning
  • Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, DHI MIKE+, ArcGIS, QGIS
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for mentoring and fostering inclusion
