About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
Overview of the role
Key responsibilities:
Airport Pass Application(s) Duties
- Pass Application Management:
- Review and submit airport ID pass applications for employees, contractors, and third-party personnel
- Verify identity documents, employment details, and background checks in accordance with regulatory standards
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure all applications comply with UK aviation security regulations, including background vetting and training requirements
- Maintain accurate records of all pass applications and approvals for audit purposes
- Stakeholder Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact for pass-related queries from internal teams and external contractors
- Liaise with airport security teams and regulatory bodies as required.
- Training & Awareness:
- Stay updated on changes to airport security regulations and ensure compliance within the organisation
- Provide guidance to staff on pass application processes and security responsibilities
- Administrative Duties:
- Team administrator support for client frameworks
- Preparation and submission of invoicing
- Coordination of events and meetings
- Liaise with internal teams to gather data and confirm updates
- Provide administrative support for meetings (e.g., arranging, taking minutes, updating action logs)
- Adhoc support to the framework team as required
Candidate specification
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information
- Proactive mindset
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sound record-keeping
- A proactive and collaborative mindset and a passion for making things better
Desirable:
- Knowledge of UK aviation security regulations and airport pass processes
- Previous experience in a compliance, security, or administrative role
Anyone successful in this role must be eligible for an airport ID Pass (including clear criminal record and 5 years background check history)
