Our Auckland Civil & Water team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to help deliver meaningful water and civil infrastructure projects across Auckland and the upper North Island.

You’ll take ownership of varied project work while growing your technical, project management and leadership capability with support from an experienced local team and wider global network.



Your Opportunity

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll support the planning, design and delivery of water and civil infrastructure projects, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll also mentor junior engineers, build your profile across the New Zealand water sector, and contribute to a strong Auckland project pipeline.



What you’ll do

  • Deliver civil design across water, wastewater and stormwater projects
  • Prepare technical documentation, drawings, specifications and schedules
  • Support construction monitoring, contract administration and site engagement
  • Work with clients, delivery partners and multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop your project management, leadership and technical capability
  • Mentor and support graduate and intermediate engineers


About you

You are an experienced civil engineer who enjoys technical delivery, collaboration and mentoring others.

You’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in water, wastewater and/or stormwater infrastructure
  • Strong civil design capability, including pipeline and hydraulic design exposure
  • Consulting experience and confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
  • An interest in growing your technical, leadership and client-facing capability
  • Working toward or holding CPEng status is advantageous
