Senior BIM Modeller

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

• Production of MEP drawings and models using Autodesk Revit

• Interpret design intent sketches provided by the project engineers

• Comply with company and project-specific modelling and drawing standards

• Assist with the formal drawing submission process

• Assist with BIM model coordination with other disciplines

• Develop tools and processes to improve efficiency of project delivery

• Develop BIM execution plans for the projects we are working on

• Coordination and management of off-shore BIM resources

• Assisting business development activities

• Engagement with the Mott MacDonald Digital community and investment in personal development

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Proficient in the use of Revit and Navisworks software

• Familiar with BCA BIM submission requirement and procedure

• Experience in programming software preferred (e.g. Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python)

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in the industry

• Good team player with a self-motivated and proactive character

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
