About the Business Unit Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations. As part of GDSC, you’ll join a team that champions excellence in both technical and digital disciplines, supporting projects at every stage of the lifecycle—from concept to completion. We work to international design standards and regulations, ensuring our contributions meet the highest benchmarks of quality and innovation. At GDSC, you’ll be empowered to collaborate across borders, grow your expertise, and make a meaningful impact on infrastructure and development projects that shape communities worldwide. As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement BIM strategies, policies, and best practices across projects. • Manage and deliver project information models, ensuring compliance with BIM Execution Plans and contractual obligations.
• Stay updated with the latest digital technologies and practices.
• Establish & administer the Common Data Environments (CDEs) into ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud & ProjectWise). • Develop & lead digital delivery strategy implementation, integrating technical and design teams across the projects. Optimize collaboration using advanced tools for seamless BIM execution in the project.
• Develop and implement BIM setup and workflows for enhanced project management and coordination.
• Maintain quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables and ensure adherence to BIM standards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensure seamless information flow, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
• Support team development, mentor BIM staff, and raise the BIM profile within the organization. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Identify internal and external training opportunities to enhance BIM team competencies.
• Develop and implement a structured BIM training roadmap for skill advancement.
• Collaborate with industry experts and training providers to facilitate specialized workshops. • Monitor emerging BIM technologies and best practices, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends.
• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and mentorship programs to strengthen technical proficiency. Key requirement:
• Must have previous formal multidiscipline Principal/ Senior BIM Coordinator role experience • Should have 18+ years of experience of BIM Software, Principles and best practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of BIM standards (like ISO , PAS, BS, Uniclass, NBIMS, NBS Chorus, RIBA Stages, COBie etc.)
• Working experience of developing and manging the BEP (BIM execution Plan & Digital delivery Plan) •Working experience of setup and mange CDE (Common data environment) into ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) & PW (ProjectWise).
• Experience in handling and managing the project in Client portals like (Aconex, Asite etc. will give add on value).
• Working experience in extensions of BIM 4D, 5D, 6D & 7D. • Working experience of manging the BIM data as per project requirement.
• Experience in driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies.
• Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination, BIM Collab etc. also • Strong knowledge and working experience of digital initiatives either using third party tools or inhouse digital tools.
• Template Creation and management.
• Content Management • Project monitoring and reporting using Power app/ Power BI, P6 etc
