Your Opportunity
In this varied role you will be responsible for leading and delivering Information Management services across projects throughout the ANZ and Asia Pacific region, ensuring information is managed effectively, securely and in accordance with ISO 19650, client requirements and organisational standards. The role provides strategic and operational support to project teams through the establishment of Common Data Environments (CDEs), information governance frameworks, delivery planning, execution and compliance assurance.
You will act as a trusted advisor to project and client stakeholders, driving consistent information management practices that enhance collaboration, reduce risk and improve project delivery outcomes. This role will support both Victoria and broader ANZ and Asia Pacific initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement Information Management strategies, standards and governance frameworks aligned to ISO 19650 and client requirements.
- Establish, configure and support Common Data Environments (CDEs), including workflows, permissions, metadata and information controls.
- Lead project mobilisation activities, including information requirements, CDE setup, governance planning and team onboarding.
- Develop and maintain Information Management Plans, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Information Delivery Plans and related documentation.
- Provide embedded Information Management support and advisory services to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and support effective collaboration between design disciplines.
- Coordinate model-based stakeholder review workshops
- Monitor and assure compliance with ISO 19650, client requirements and organisational standards through reviews, audits and reporting.
- Coordinate information delivery across multidisciplinary teams to ensure information is accurate, timely and fit for purpose.
- Manage information quality, classification, metadata, naming conventions and lifecycle controls to support effective information exchange.
- Facilitate training, workshops and capability development initiatives to improve Information Management maturity and adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and continuous improvement of Information Management practices, templates, standards and service offerings across the APNA region.
About you
Core skills & capabilities
- At least 8-10 years' experience in BIM / Digital Engineering coordination or a similar infrastructure delivery role.
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computational Design, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Information Management principles, governance frameworks and industry best practices, including ISO 19650 information management standards.
- Demonstrated experience establishing, configuring and administering Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as Autodesk Construction Cloud/ Forma and ProjectWise to support project delivery.
- Proficiency in industry standard digital engineering tools such as Revit, MicroStation, and other Bentely and Autodesk tools.
- Strong proficiency with coordination tools such as Navisworks, Revizto and/or Solibri.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify information-related risks and develop practical solutions.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoad/ Rail, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, or other infrastructure modelling tools.
- Exposure to API integration, custom add-ins, or workflow automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of AECO industry digital systems, BIM standards, and CDE integrations.
- Understanding of digital twins, data federation, and emerging model intelligence concepts.
