Job Description

Our teams take an active part in foreign and national infrastructure projects, specializing in transport planning, highways, geotechnics, water, environment, tunnels, and foundations.

You will be part of the project team and report to one of more project information managers to support projects in their wider information management needs.

Your principal accountabilities will range depending on the services required by individual projects but will typically include:

  • Supporting Project Information Management leadership with the initial project setup in accordance with internal, industry and client standards
  • Performing clash and coordination detection on behalf of projects and reporting on model coordination and data compliance issues
  • Assisting with preparation of and enforcement of BIM Execution Plans, Project Information Standards, Task Information Delivery Plans, Master Information Delivery Plans, Responsibility Matrices, Mobilization Plans, Capability Assessments and Risk Registers.
  • Ensuring data exchange protocols are adhered to by the project team and liaise with management to ensure compliance
  • Creation of project BIM data sets, including managing and maintaining project content and sourcing additional content for project teams.
  • Configuring/specifying dashboards and data flows typically using Power Platform, Power Automate etc to ensure data surfaced and managed appropriately.
  • Project SharePoint site administration and setup
  • Collaborate with Information Management leadership personnel (both project and regional) to share knowledge and best practice.
  • Support staff to ensure they are provided with the information required to ensure delivery of quality data in line with project requirements

Essential academic, professional qualifications and experience:

  • Substantiated experience in a similar role with multidisciplinary major project teams.
  • Educated to HNC level or similar in Civil Engineering, Architecture of Information Communication Technologies (ICT).
  • Working knowledge of relevant ISO industry standards (ISO19650) and contracts
  • 1-2 years’ experience of the production and management of information in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Essential competencies / skills:

The successful candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic and eager to play a part in a growing team. They will also:

  • Have experienced in the production and management of federated models, and be capable of model checking, running clash and interface management, data visuals/ reporting and closing out identified issues against defined project standards.
  • Prior modelling or design experience in the infrastructure sector using Autodesk and Bentley software.
  • Have knowledge and experience of delivering projects in accordance with BIM level 2 requirements
  • Experience in one or more of these languages: Python, C++, or C# preferably in the application of .NET framework.
  • At least basic experience with automation tools such as Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Bi etc)
  • Ideally have experience with parametric modelling software (Dynamo or similar).
  • Be familiar with CAD/BIM standards and QA procedures.
  • Knowledge in IT and network infrastructure principles, or cloud base infrastructures.
  • Knowledge in security standards and risk management principles.
  • Be conversant with various CDE solutions (e.g. Bentley Projectwise or Autodesk Construction Cloud)
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be conscientious, able to work without supervision and proactively manage time.

Desirable academic, qualifications, experience, competencies and skills:

  • Ability to provide leadership in project execution
  • Knowledge in Database systems such as SQL, ODBC and DAX scripting is a plus.

Job Profile :

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator with Information Management and Data Science skills to join our Digital team in Prague. BIM Coordinators assist project teams coordinating authored models and their associated data across the project delivery schedule in line with our growing demands in this area.

With a primary focus on the delivery of transportation projects in the preliminary and detail design phases, we are not limited to the practice or the sector in which we work. We specialise in the implementation of digital/BIM processes leveraging knowledge from across the group to maximise efficiency delivery projects, supported through use of wide variety of the latest tools and processes.
