As Quality and Food Safety system is of utter most importance to Mondelez International the compliance to the Mondelez Standards as well as FSSC 22000 and other internal and external requirements is a key focus for the Quality Assurance and HACCP coordinator.

How you will contribute

  • Ensuring all functions in change management projects are aware of and follow policies, legislation, and best practices regarding food safety, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Contributing to the required competency level of MU personnel by influencing, supporting and educating in quality awareness when applicable (ex. compliance to QPs and best practices)

Key Responsibilities

HACCP:

  • You will lead site’s quality & food safety system, including internal documentation and change management control to ensure quality policies, internal and external aspects are integrated into the local systems effectively.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Mondelez Standard, FSSC 22000, internal and external requirements.
  • Participation in change projects to assure potential quality and food safety risks are assessed and actions taken accordingly.
  • Develop and facilitate food safety training sessions, ensuring employees are well-versed in food safety protocols and regulatory expectations.
  • Perform regular verification of Critical Control Points (CCPs), Specific Prerequisite Programs and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs), ensuring they meet established standards and coordinating corrective actions when necessary.

Corrective and preventative actions:

  • Lead and manage CAPA systems to ensure all issues and non-conformities are managed according to requirements and in timely manner including robust RCAs and adherence to PDCA cycle.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis for food safety issues, working with the quality team to implement effective preventive measures.
  • Ensure regular follow ups to identify continues improvement opportunities and lead implementation of those.

Internal and external audits:

  • Manage internal audit program and lead and participate in internal and external audits such as authority visits, FSSC 22 000 audits etc.

Quality systems:

  • Develop & support the maintenance of all aspects of the Quality & Food Safety Management System.
  • Facilitate & coach compliance to Quality & Food Safety record keeping, retention & revision.

Continuous improvement

  • Participate IL6S programs and lead standard work process for quality fundamentals within QM pillar.
  • Manage quality KPIs by compiling and analysing data, identifying areas of improvement.
  • Challenge status quo to increase efficiency.
  • Identify gaps related to quality (e.g. routines, best practices, Quality Policies, specifications, quality and food safety documentation etc.).
  • Contributing to achieve a high level of quality and food safety awareness throughout the production organization by conducting required training and coaching in relevant areas such as GMP, microbiology, hygienic design, pest control, sanitation.

What you will bring

  • Relevant experience in FMCG
  • Experience in food safety management, including HACCP, Food Safety Plans, and CCP/OPRP programs.
  • Deep knowledge of GMP, zoning, environmental monitoring, allergen and foreign matter control within food manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in managing food safety risks: identification and management, HACCP and prerequisite controls, hygienic design.
  • Deep knowledge of IL6S, Lean or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety standards are met.
  • Take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills to act as a liaison.
  • Fluent in English and preferably in Swedish
