How you will contribute
Transforming Insight into action:
- Generating and utilizing data-led insights to prioritise category, channel and customer opportunities and plans.
Building effective growth strategies with customers:
- Through alignment to our category vision, implementing revenue growth management levers (pricing, trade terms, promotional investment, mix management, Pack Price Architecture) and a vision for the point of buying.
- Demonstrate the ability to think on a 12 month to 3 year time-frame.
Planning and Executional Excellence:
- Through end-to-end management of the P&L, forecasting and monitoring of performance, and great execution of our plans at the point of buying (online and offline).
Best in Class Customer Leadership:
- Through Selling and Influencing, Negotiating and Joint Business Planning.
- Able to set the framework for a proposition and work cross-functionally to build compelling insight-led stories and commercial propositions that differentiate Grenade with the customer and shopper.
- Can sell and negotiate effectively to deliver solutions and results that work for both parties.
- Able to translate customer needs and broader trends to identify growth opportunities and build aligned solutions for mutual benefit.
Lead and motivate an Account Executive:
- Line Manager responsibility for National Account Executive
What you will bring
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate the team
- Analytical skills to interpret data and generate insight
- A customer-centric approach to building and maintaining relationships
- Excellent selling, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
- Capable of working with a high level of self-sufficiency, coupled with a strong sense of collaboration
- Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible
- Collaborative, enabling meaningful working relationships with the rest of the Grenade team
- Proven experience in National Account Management, preferably in the FMCG sector
