What you need to know about this position:

Mondelēz Digital Services (MDS) is looking for a hands-on, experienced technical lead to own the marketing technology landscape across Mondelez Europe (MEU). This role sits in the Marketing, Sales & eCommerce team and is the technical counterpart to the Regional Tech Product Manager — where the Product Manager decides what gets built and why, this role makes sure it is built, tested, run and adopted correctly in each market.

You will deploy and operate consumer data and CRM platforms (Braze, OneTrust, data integration layers), support markets from campaign plan to launch, manage GDPR and consent compliance in partnership with the European DPO, drive web accessibility (WCAG 2.2 / European Accessibility Act), and direct the system integrators and agencies who build and run the platforms. The role also supports the Away From Home (B2B) team on CRM, data and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own regional MarTech platform reliability end to end — integrations, performance, monitoring, technical debt remediation
  • Act as the MEU technical point of contact for global digital marketing products; deploy consumer data and CRM platforms to new markets from discovery through go-live
  • Support local markets from campaign brief to launch — translate marketing plans into lead-gen integration, data model configuration and use-case fitment
  • Partner with Architecture, Platform and Technical Product teams to make the right technology choices, including scoping and costing new campaigns
  • Own SIT and UAT execution — test-plan approval, defect management, quality gates — and take partner-built integrations through to go-live
  • Implement and evidence GDPR compliance across MEU: consent, retention, data subject requests, local rules (e.g. CNIL), working directly with the DPO and legal
  • Ensure brand websites meet WCAG 2.2 Level A and are ready for the European Accessibility Act; manage the accessibility monitoring platform
  • Provide technical support for the Away From Home (B2B) team: CRM, data integrations, web developments; package B2B use cases for global reuse
  • Define data-quality scope, metrics and validation checks; apply Security and Responsible AI principles across platforms
  • Build and maintain deployment playbooks, technical documentation and enablement materials so markets can onboard efficiently and self-serve
  • Direct system integrators and agencies on build, run and support; act as the escalation point across the MEU partner ecosystem

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7 years in marketing technology, IT solution delivery or digital platform support
  • Hands-on experience with CDP/CRM platforms (Braze or similar), consent management (OneTrust or similar) and marketing data flows — not just oversight, real configuration and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and campaign planning; able to translate a market’s campaign brief into lead-gen integration and a consumer data model
  • Experience leading SIT/UAT and taking partner-built integrations through to go-live
  • Working knowledge of GDPR in practice: consent, retention, DSR processes, local rules across European markets; works directly with DPO and legal
  • Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and how to bring brand websites into compliance
  • Cloud data fundamentals on GCP (BigQuery), APIs and ETL; can check data with SQL rather than relying on a vendor
  • Experience delivering across markets in a matrixed organisation with system integrators and agencies
  • Has led a small to medium technical team
  • Writes clear technical documentation and explains technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong collaboration skills, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, can-do attitude

Nice to have:

  • GCP analytics and ML services (Dataflow, Vertex AI)
  • Customer data platforms (e.g. Lytics), website CMS/DAM, GA/GTM
  • B2B CRM experience (e.g. foodservice or hospitality channels)
  • Responsible AI frameworks and the European Accessibility Act
  • ITIL or SAFe certification
