Job Description
Mondelēz International — the company behind Oreo, Milka, and Toblerone — is rolling out o9 Solutions, an AI/ML-powered planning platform, across Europe. It’s one of the biggest digital transformations in our history, and we need demand planning practitioners who can get into the detail, challenge what doesn’t work, and help us build something that actually holds up in the real world.
We are committed to being both a Talent Maker and a Talent Magnet — intentionally developing, attracting, and retaining great people through robust succession planning. We believe in YOU and we back that up with daily opportunities to learn, grow, and shape a career on your own terms. Flexibility is more than a policy here — it is part of how we work, helping every employee maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. Everything we do is anchored in purpose. Through Snacking Made Right, we are building a brand portfolio loved by billions — work you can feel good about.
What we offer

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Possible.
Every planning platform looks great in a demo. The hard part is making it work when the data is messy, the markets are different, and the forecast review is tomorrow morning. That’s where you come in.
You’ll be embedded in the core programme team in Warsaw, part of an established planning community that is one of the largest in the region. This isn’t a back-office support role — you’ll be the person who makes sure the solution works for the people who use it every day.
This is a fixed-term project role with the end date 31st of March 2028. High performers will be considered to join our established Warsaw planning community.
How you will contribute
You’re the expert practitioner — the person who spots what a purely technical team would miss. Your work spans six workstreams:
Shape the Solution
You’re the Demand Planning subject matter expert for your assigned scope. You validate forecasting logic, planning processes, and system functionality against how things actually work.
You join design workshops and sprint reviews, run fit-gap assessments, and flag the edge cases that live beyond the standard blueprint.
You bridge business users and the implementation team — translating planning reality into technical language.
Test It Rigorously
You execute functional, integration, and UAT across all Demand Planning workflows — forecast generation, enrichment, demand sensing, master data, and IBP pack preparation.

You find defects, document them clearly, and track them through to resolution. When parallel runs and business simulations happen, you’re in the room.
You travel to markets for co-located testing when it counts.
Get the Data Right
You validate master data, planning hierarchies, and forecasting inputs for completeness and accuracy.
You support data cleansing activities and verify data quality standards are met. You check data integration between o9, SAP IBP, and SAC — and you flag risks early, not the week before go-live.
Help Build Capability
You help develop training materials with real planning content — not generic slides.
You deliver end-user sessions and support train-the-trainer programmes. You provide functional coaching to local planning teams — helping them understand the “why” behind the new processes, not just the “how.”
You support the onboarding of new Key Users, sharing your practical experience to get them up to speed faster.
Drive Go-Live & Hypercare
You support cutover preparation and go-live readiness.
Post go-live, you’re the first point of contact for Demand Planning questions — helping teams stabilise and transition smoothly to business-as-usual.
Champion the Change
You work across IBP Managers, Commercial teams, and Data Science.
You build buy-in at market level — not by telling people to change, but by showing them why it’s worth it.
You support adoption activities and contribute credible business feedback to project updates.
What you will bring
Must Have
4–6 years in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or IBP in FMCG/CPG — real practitioner experience, not just time served.
Hands-on experience with SAP APO, SAP IBP, o9 Solutions, or a comparable enterprise planning platform.
Solid understanding of statistical forecasting methodologies and demand planning processes.
The analytical confidence to validate system outputs — and challenge them when they don’t match reality.
Communication skills that bridge business users and technical teams. Equally comfortable in a market workshop and a design review.
High learning agility — you pick up new platforms quickly and apply them with judgement.
A change-driving mindset — you don’t just support transformation; you actively shape it.
Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Poland.
Strong Plus
Transformation experience is a meaningful differentiator for this role, though not a barrier to apply. If you have any of the below, tell us:
Experience in system implementation, UAT, or technology transformation projects — even if you weren’t the one running the show, having been through it matters.
Hands-on o9 Solutions experience or comparable advanced platform (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).
Understanding of ML/AI model outputs and the confidence to question them.
Cross-functional stakeholder management at BU/CU level.
Nice to Have
Experience in a centralised or hub-based planning model.
Working knowledge of Python, R, or SQL.
Familiarity with demand sensing, no-touch forecasting, and forecast value-add measurement.
APICS CSCP, IBF CPF, or equivalent professional certification.
This is a fixed-term project role with the end date 31st of March 2028. High performers will be considered to join our established Warsaw planning community.
