We want to reshape security and empower every user, customer, and developer with a security cloud that protects them with end to end, simplified solutions. The Microsoft Security organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate. You will focus both on increasing our analysts’ productivity and increasing the impact that we derive from the intelligence that we generate.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

  • Work directly with intelligence analysts from across Microsoft's research ecosystem to gather, curate, and prioritize the most important problems to solve on behalf of our researchers.
  • Always keeping our end customer's goals and mission in mind.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the workflows our analysts use to gain insights, publish content, etc.
  • Deep expertise in security principles, with a focus on threat intelligence and security research methodologies.

  • Partner with Engineering to drive a complete Product-team approach to solving problems.
  • Ensure our engineers always know the 'what' and 'why' behind the work they do, and empower them to be part of the solution.

  • Substantial experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security research and program management.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute research & development strategies that support product development objectives.
