As a Solution Sales Specialist you will be a senior sales leader within our enterprise sales organization working with our largest most complex strategic Retail and Consumer Goods customers. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner, marketing, and engineering resources to advance the sales process and drive new business across ecosystem.

Responsibilities

As a Modern Workplace Solution Sales Specialist, you will specialise in the Microsoft Modern Work portfolio;

  • Drive complex and strategic deals and influence new Modern Work strategic opportunities by engaging with key business and technical contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision, and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of M365 platform, including Copilot for Microsoft 365.
  • Build customer trust with expertise in identity and management solutions, communications & productivity platforms, and AI solutions across Financial Services.
  • Act as subject matter expert for Modern Work workloads, navigating complex deal orchestration, supporting competitor displacement opportunities, and engage confidently at CxO level to present your findings and initiatives.
  • Accelerate Microsoft 365 advanced workload opportunities with creative deal strategies, demos and storytelling that overcome customer challenges, while leveraging core team stakeholders (Marketing, Partners, Engineering, FastTrack, Business desks).
  • Foster and expand Microsoft’s relationships with Customer Business Decision Makers and support sales teams.
  • Influence engineering and product groups with closed loop feedback supporting refining the sales process and product updates.
  • Lead with a growth mindset and new business selling skillset

Qualifications

  • Required/Minimum Qualifications

    • Technology-related Enterprise Sales or Account Management experience
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent qualification) combined with technology-related sales or account management experience.

    Additional or Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with UK Retail and/or Consumer Goods clients
    • Experience in a Modern Work cloud sales and/or technical sales roles
    • Experience with the AI architecting and deploying AI workloads
    • High technical aptitude and hands-on experience working with enterprise AI, Cloud and Security solutions and programs, especially Microsoft’s Modern Work solutions
