The Cloud & AI team sits within Microsoft’s Customer Success Unit (CSU) organisation and plays a key role in helping customers successfully adopt, govern, and realise value from Microsoft’s Cloud and AI platforms.

As a Data & Analytics Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in the Cloud & AI team, you will help customers design and implement secure, governed, and scalable data platforms on Microsoft Azure. A key focus of this role is enabling data governance, discovery, and compliance using Microsoft data governance, discovery, and compliance solution, alongside modern analytics and AI-ready architectures.

You will support customers on their journey to modern data estates, ensuring that data is not only performant and insightful, but also trusted, compliant, and well‑governed.

This role is suited to an early‑career architect developing skills across cloud data platforms, governance architecture, and customer engagement, working in partnership with senior architects and specialists.



Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor and drive business value: You will understand customers’ overall data estate Business and IT priorities and success measures to design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value and drive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor.
  • Drive Customer Success: You will design and deliver secure, scalable, and governed Data & Data Governance solutions that meet business needs; drive customer value through solution architecture, roadmaps, POCs and MVPs; remove adoption blockers using Microsoft best practices and reusable IP; accelerate customer outcomes while acting as the voice of the customer, collaborating with engineering, and continuously building technical capability.
  • Explore growth opportunities: Partner with technical and sales teams to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions to drive expansion and business value realization.
  • Embrace a growth mindset: Act as the voice of the customer by proactively sharing insights, feedback, and success stories to inform internal strategy and execution.
  • Learn-it-all: Demonstrate a self-learner mindset through continuous, self-directed learning in areas such as endpoint management, virtualization, AI integration, business value realization, and adoption and change management. Build and maintain technical readiness aligned to Customer Success Unit (CSU) priorities and corporate initiatives.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Technical certifications in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Azure Architecture and Administration, etc.)
