Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in Data and Analytics, who is passionate about driving our customers’ transformation on Microsoft Azure. As part of this role, you will guide customers through their journey to unify their data platform and unlock the full potential of their data estate with Microsoft Fabric and our Azure Database technologies. You’ll be responsible for technical customer engagements, working with the most challenging and exciting projects within some of our strategic UK customers. That will see you owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft and helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture and operational health engagements. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

  • You will understand customers’ overall business and IT priorities, their related data estate and success measures, and design Data & Analytics solutions that drive business value and positive customer satisfaction to become a trusted advisor.
  • You will ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment, providing feedback and insights from customers/partners back into Microsoft.
  • You will develop opportunities to enable customer success and improved business results, helping customers get value from their Microsoft investments and identifying solutions to technical blockers by leveraging your solution architecture expertise.
  • You will deliver solutions according to Microsoft best practices & using repeatable intellectual property (IP).
  • You will apply your technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & Analytics roadmaps, drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Minimal Viable Products (MVPs), and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies.
  • You will be the voice of customer to share insights and best practices, connecting with Engineering teams to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.
  • You will maintain and continually develop your technical skills and knowledge, keeping up-to-date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborating and sharing with peers while educating customers on Azure platform.
  • You will accelerate customer outcomes - sharing expertise, contributing to IP creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes, and obtaining relevant accreditations and certifications.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND suitable years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND strong years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • Demonstrated experience working on technical projects
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)
  • Experience and deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • Microsoft Fabric (Fabric DW, Real-Time Intelligence), OneLake, Data Integration, Data Engineering, Copilot, Data Science)
    • Azure Databases (Azure SQL, Azure Postgres SQL, Azure MySQL, Cosmos DB)
