You will work directly with enterprise customers to help them unlock the value of AI across their organization, along with the entire Microsoft 365 platform and Surface devices. In the Modern Work Customer Success Unit in the UK, we are looking for a passionate, experienced, and credible Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) with a drive for developing and winning strategic opportunities that deliver end-to-end Modern Work thought leadership driving significant customer value and enabling transformational customer outcomes, with a specific focus on SharePoint as a foundation to unlock Microsoft 365 Copilot.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), specializing in SharePoint who is passionate about driving our customers’ security & AI transformation on the Microsoft Platform. This is a customer-facing role, owning the technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health engagements. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Centricity​
    • Customer Satisfaction - Drive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor.
    • Customer/Partner Insights - Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners.
    • Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
  • Business Impact​
    • Proactively uses knowledge of the products, services, and value propositions of Microsoft and its competitors in customer/partner conversations to identify growth opportunities based on knowledge of customer/partner needs.
    • Contributes to increase in consumption and aligns with Customer Success Account Management or other Account Team members on customer/partner priorities to drive growth in consumption via cost optimization, operational excellence performance efficiency, and security.
    • Drives architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer/partner usage and consumption.
    • Consults and provides thought leadership for technical solution design, development, and deployment and supports the customer/partner throughout implementation to achieve value outcomes and Microsoft's Customer Promise
  • Technical Leadership ​
    • Proactively develops technical and professional learning and development plan in alignment with and support from their manager.
    • Acts as a mentor and role model to less experienced colleagues to educate them on technical and non-technical concepts.
    • Shares ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft using a thorough knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the competitive landscape..

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in “United Kingdom” to be eligible for this role.
      • (Legally authorised = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit). Relocation expenses are not provided as part of this role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Business Value: The ability to convey the business need and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers. This includes the ability to persuade and inform based on facts and alignment with goals and strategy
  • Trusted Advisership: The ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders (e.g., technical decision makers, business decision makers) through an understanding of customer needs and technologies.
    • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
  • Situational fluency: Using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to "read the room."
    • Insightful listening: asking insightful questions to understand the customer needs, issues, business environment and drivers, and going beyond what is said
  • Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational AI, architecture design, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint.
