Overview

The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.

As the Activation GTM Manager for Cloud & AI Platforms in Austria you will accelerate Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) and market share growth, boost field agility, and deliver results with our field sellers by deepening your partnership with key stakeholders across Austria, Sales Excellence, sales, marketing, consulting, customer success, and partner functions, supporting One-Microsoft. You will focus on driving alignment across processes and tools, leading a cross-solution approach to optimize pipelines, ensuring effective communication and flawless execution, and leveraging insights to drive data-driven decision-making. This role is critical to driving customer adoption at scale, driven by deep solution play domain, product truth, and partnerships with sales, marketing, operations, and sales excellence.

We’re looking for a highly driven, motivated marketing or sales individual to join our Cloud & AI Platforms Go-to-Market (GTM) team. This role requires someone who acts as a thought leader, tracks success criteria and performance metrics, works with emergent technology, creates alignment and action across teams, removes roadblocks, and simplifies complex concepts. Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary product and technical advocate, evangelizing across products and solution plays within the Cloud & AI Platforms business as well as leverage product and/or technical subject matter expertise as well as industry, market and competitive knowledge to share insights and feedback to EMEA Regional SE&O Cloud & AI Compete lead, land and position the compete value proposition from EMEA and tailor messaging to both internal and external audiences.
  • You will execute Cloud & AI solution play plans, enable and activate the sellers and track the efficacy of plans across the business in Austria, providing insights to the EMEA SE&O solution play team on effectiveness, impact, challenges, opportunities. You`ll contribute on driving sustainable growth within and beyond the boundaries of the fiscal year as well as accept accountability for ACR performance, scorecard metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business and identify strategic priorities and drives alignment across the business to enable the team/stakeholders to deliver against priorities.
  • You will orchestrate and execute the strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans across the business working closely inclusive of marketing, field, consulting, customer success, and partner functions that support a One Microsoft approach to overall business strategy and execution.
  • You will ensure field communities have the enablement and activation needed to run the business locally and serve as the primary orchestrator between the EMEA regional SE&O Cloud & AI team and the field and ensure field, and EMEA regional leadership are aligned on business results and actions to take.
  • You will drive area/subsidiary leadership through revealing and pursuing long-range, white-space growth opportunities and investment plans, including geographical expansion as well cross-references opportunities within the market with the area/subsidiary's capabilities to develop strategies that maximize performance across the business.
  • You will drive a pipeline of feedback from sales to the partners and leverage EMEA regional competitive strategy and plans landing, and executing with local sales, customers and partners as well as track progress on investments, drive follow-through to ensure customers have Datacenter capacity and services availability, ensuring UATs are raised for technical and business blockers with the team.
  • You will exemplify Microsoft Values, Culture, Leadership Principles and create clarity by creating a shared understanding and building a clear course of action.


Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications Extensive, hands-on experience in strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work. Understanding of GenAI, Migration, Apps Modernization, Data Platform, Security, Developer marketplace, or other product areas relevant to the Cloud & AI Platforms solution area is preferred.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure / Cloud & AI Platforms portfolio, including competitive offerings and the integration of Azure AI across the piece.
  • Understanding of Microsoft’s broader AI strategy and the critical role Cloud & AI Platforms plays in the bigger picture.
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
