What you'll bring to the team

Ready to help guests fall in love with London, one rotation at a time?

We’re looking for brilliant Ride Hosts to join the team at the London Eye, one of the UK’s most iconic attractions and an unforgettable way to experience the city. From the first hello to final goodbye, you’ll be right there, helping guests feel welcome, informed and excited as they step into their journey above London.

As a Ride Host, you’re part host, part guide and part magician. You’ll keep things moving smoothly, share helpful information, bring positive energy to busy moments and make sure every guest feels safe, relaxed and ready to enjoy the view. It’s fast paced, guest facing and full of variety, just like London itself.

What you’ll be doing

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and genuine enthusiasm
• Making sure guests board and leave the pods safely and smoothly
• Managing queues with a calm, upbeat and approachable attitude
• Sharing clear, helpful information so guests know exactly what to expect
• Promoting London Eye experiences such as Fast Track, VIP and Cluster tickets
• Explaining product benefits in a natural, guest focused way
• Using and looking after operational equipment including ticket scanners and queue barriers
• Delivering great service outdoors in all weather conditions
• Working closely with teammates to keep everything running like clockwork
• Reporting safety concerns or incidents quickly and appropriately
• Supporting and training new team members through shadowing and guidance

We have Full Time fixed term contracts available. The London Eye is open every day, so you’ll need full flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in a customer facing role, ideally in a busy environment
• Confident communicating with guests from all over the world
• Able to stay calm, friendly and professional during busy periods
• A positive, proactive approach and a real love of working with people
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather
• An interest in health and safety, with full training provided
• Aged 18 or over due to health and safety requirements

Pay Range

GBP £13.49/Hr.
