As a Park Ranger, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and fellow Model Citizens (MCs). From proactive loss prevention to calm, confident emergency response, you’ll help ensure every visit is as safe as it is unforgettable.

🚨 What You’ll Be Doing
Safety, Security & Loss Prevention
Protect Resort facilities, equipment, and assets by preventing loss, damage, and unauthorized access.
Monitor surveillance systems, access points, and exits to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment in line with Park and Department policies.
Respond to emergencies, report irregularities, enforce Park policies, and manage trespasser situations calmly and professionally.
Assist with monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and emergency lighting systems.
Investigations & Incident Response
Support investigations by documenting observations, conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and completing clear, detailed written reports.
Dispatch and respond to radio calls across the Park for security needs and emergency situations.
Work closely with law enforcement and emergency response partners, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Guest & Team Experience
Deliver outstanding guest service to Park guests and fellow MCs at all times.
Act as a visible, approachable presence that promotes safety while enhancing the guest experience.
Lead by example and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
🧩 Who We’re Looking For
At least one year of security and/or law enforcement experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with sound judgment and reasoning ability
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
A team player who leads by example and supports colleagues
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for excellent guest service
Prior family theme park experience is a plus
Class D Security License recommended
Ability to successfully complete CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid training
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent is required. Some college course work is preferred.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight, and weekends to support park
- Able to work various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces and be comfortable exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Be comfortable with intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site and interact with guests and employees.
