Job Description
What you'll bring to the team
Ready to power the thrills behind the scenes at the UK’s most thrilling theme park? We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an Operations Planner at Thorpe Park to help keep the park running smoothly and make sure every fearless moment is perfectly planned.
First and foremost, you’ll be passionate about making the magic happen behind the scenes. You’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling frontline teams across the park, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to deliver feel good thrills every single day. From ride operators to guest facing teams, your plans will help keep the park moving at full speed.
You’ll work closely with the Planning and Resource Manager and teams across the park to support seamless day to day operations. This includes building and distributing rosters, managing break schedules, consolidating hours and payroll reports and spotting resourcing challenges before they become problems. You’ll use data, systems and a healthy dose of common sense to optimise costs, support guest experience and keep operations firing on all cylinders.
This role operates on a 7-day business, working any 5 days out of 7. This will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Flexibility is key as resourcing needs will change with guest demand, events and peak trading periods.
