What you'll bring to the team
Job Scope:To create magic moments by working closely with the Lifeguard team to supervise the safety of all bathers within Savannah Splash. To provide excellent guest care as well as safety for guests visiting Savannah Splash by achieving high standards of cleanliness and adhering to the NOP’s and SOP’s.
Job Purpose:
As a Lifeguard you will ensure health and safety in the Leisure Club, by reporting things if they don’t look right, looking out from hazards and preventing them from happening. You will also be maintaining supervision in the pool hall to ensure that guests/members are having fun whilst also being safe.
Day to day your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Resolving guest enquires and feedback to the best of your ability to a high standard promoting return visits
- Confidently answering telephone enquires quickly and efficiently and taking advantage of upselling opportunities
- Helping maintain the hotel by keeping high cleaning standards, reporting and removing hazards and highlighting potential improvements
- Maintaining high supervision in the pool hall to ensure safety of guests swimming is at a high.
- You will have mixed hours, which will range from 6am – 10pm
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to by the customer.
- Ensure building and bather capacity is managed in line with SOP’s.
- Take care of the health and safety of themselves and others.
- To be courteous to guests and answer any queries or concerns they may have.
- Whilst on duty you are to behave in a professional manner, be clean, tidy and alert at all times.
- Educate guests about hazards, risks and water safety in general.
- To report accidents and assist in first aid when required.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to, and cleaning duties are carried out each day before Savannah Splash becomes operational each morning and closes each night, as well as keeping the cleaning up throughout the day.
- To be fully conversant with all company and leisure policies and procedures with particular attention to fire, health and safety and evacuation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must hold a valid NPLQ Certification
- Will require DBS

Pay Range
GBP £12.35/Hr.
