Are you ready to step into the darkest depths of Edinburgh’s past and help our guests. At The Edinburgh Dungeon, we're searching for passionate, energetic and customer focused individuals to join our team as Guest Experience Hosts.

Our people create the unforgettable moments that define the Edinburgh Dungeon.

As a Guest Experience Host, you’ll be at the heart of our attraction welcoming visitors, delivering exceptional customer service, supporting commercial performance, and ensuring every guest leaves with a story to tell.

You will:

  • Create magical, memorable and interactive experiences for every visitor.
  • Welcome guests with warmth, enthusiasm and brilliant customer service.
  • Confidently upsell products to help achieve revenue and SPH targets.
  • Keep public areas clean, safe and looking sharp throughout the day.
  • Support the attraction in achieving daily KPIs and Mystery Visitor targets.
  • Handle customer queries and challenges positively and professionally.
  • Follow operational and safety procedures to the highest standards.

  • Love interacting with guests and creating memorable moments.
  • Are friendly, calm and empathetic
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional service every shift, every visit.
  • Can stay calm under pressure while keeping the fun alive.
  • Uphold high safety and cleanliness standards with a positive attitude.
  • Enjoy learning, sharpening their skills and “Owning Their Craft.”

Please note, due to the nature of this role candidates must be 18 and over.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Deliver engaging, entertaining and helpful customer service.
  • Support commercial goals by upselling tickets, photos and retail items.
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks accurately.
  • Handle cash and card transactions in line with company processes.
  • Maintain uniform standards (clean, tidy, name badge worn).
  • Collaborate with your team to solve problems and keep things running smoothly true Go Together spirit.
  • Lots of experience working in a customer facing environment
  • Outgoing, fun personality with a love for interacting with guests.
  • Confidence to engage with Dungeon dwellers and traitors.
  • Stamina for standing, bending, and the occasional scream.
  • Availability for a variety of shifts.
