First Aid & Incident Supervisor

Location: Chessington World of Adventures, KT9 2NE

Hours: Full time fully flexible, any 5 days out of 7

Contract Type: Permanent, hourly paid, £13.58 per hour

We are recruiting for a First Aid & Incident Supervisor to join our ROAR-SOME Chessington World of Adventures First Aid Team!

The First Aid & Incident Manager will look after the day to day running of the First Aid Centre and the management of the onsite First Aid Team. You will ensure an efficient and quality delivery of first aid care to both guests and employees, in accordance with health & safety compliance and policies.

As the team manager you will lead, develop and upskill your team of First Aiders, working closely with our rostering team to ensure adequate department coverage for both the running of the first aid centre, incident response and mandatory training attendance. The team will look to you for guidance both structured and more informal coaching conversations, and you will ensure they are having regular one to one meetings, facilitate their objective reviews, celebrate success and manage employee relations as necessary.

The First Aid & Incident Manager is the key contact for the wider resort, and will act as the department duty manager, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the resort from all departments both internal and external contractors. You will also lead incident response as the duty manager of this function (on a rotational basis), remaining calm and measured in the event of an incident, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation alongside internal Merlin policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification is essential (3 day course)
  • Extended First Response Qualification FREC 4 is essential
  • Previous experience working in a First Aid or Emergency Response Management role is essential
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is advantageous
  • Due to the nature of this role, we will only be accepting applications from those candidates over the age of 18
