What you'll bring to the team

At Alton Towers Resort, safety and exceptional guest experience go hand in hand. We are seeking motivated and vigilant Lifeguards to join our Waterpark team, playing a vital role in ensuring every guest enjoys a safe, fun, and memorable visit.

As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for guests of all ages. You will actively supervise poolside and water-based activities, uphold the highest safety standards, and be ready to respond decisively in emergency situations. Your presence will be key in delivering confidence and reassurance to our guests, allowing them to fully enjoy their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant surveillance of the Waterpark to ensure guest safety at all times
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, following established procedures and protocols
• Deliver outstanding customer service, engaging positively with guests of all ages
• Ensure poolside areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Safely handle, set up, and maintain pool equipment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment

This is a full-time role. Candidates must be able to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekend work.

Qualifications & Experience

Training & Development:

We welcome applications from candidates who do not yet hold a lifeguard qualification. Full training and certification can be provided for the right individuals, along with ongoing development opportunities within the Resort.

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £11.00/Hr.-GBP £13.20/Hr.
