Are you passionate about creating amazing experiences for people? At the Beluga Whale Sanctuary, we're dedicated to providing a safe and natural home for beluga whales, and we're looking for enthusiastic people to join our team! As a Guest Experience Assistant, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes our visitors, setting the stage for an unforgettable visit. You'll be part of a team that’s all about delivering top-notch service with a smile, while also helping to support our important conservation work.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Making every guest feel welcome! You'll be selling tickets, memberships, and guides, ensuring a smooth and efficient entry process.
• Sharing your enthusiasm for our belugas! You'll chat with visitors, answer their questions and help them get the most out of their visit.
• Being a team player! You'll work alongside your colleagues to keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone has a great time.
• Keeping things safe and sound! You'll follow our procedures to make sure our guests and team members are safe.
• Helping us raise vital funds! You'll promote our memberships, gift shop goodies and other ways for guests to support our work.
• Handling transactions accurately and responsibly (cash, cards, etc.).
• Looking after our equipment and keeping our areas tidy.

This role is full-time and includes working a regular, fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• A people person who loves interacting with the public and providing excellent customer service.
• You'll be friendly, approachable, and able to engage with people of all ages.
• A team player who’ll be happy to support colleagues and work together to achieve our goals.
• Someone who's reliable and punctual.
• Someone who can handle money accurately and responsibly.
• An interest in marine conservation is a bonus!
