Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently? We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining our attractions, facilities, and building systems.
In this position, you'll help deliver an exceptional guest experience by ensuring our rides, equipment, and facilities remain safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a variety of systems and equipment, we'd love to hear from you.The ideal candidate will be available to work a schedule that can vary based on business needs, but typically runs from 7am to 8:30pm (in two shifts) including weekends and holidays.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining attraction rides and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and control devices.
- Completing work orders, inspections, adjustments, and repairs.
- Installing and replacing items such as light bulbs, projector lamps, doors, and other facility components.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly basis.
- Repairing and painting interior walls, hanging fixtures, and assembling furniture.
- Installing and maintaining data cabling, computer outlets, and networking connections.
- Monitoring and maintaining building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Operating a variety of hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Identifying, correcting, and reporting safety concerns or fire hazards.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Supporting other maintenance-related projects and duties as assigned.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
This role requires the ability to:
- Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work around moving mechanical equipment.
- Climb ladders and work at heights of up to 20 feet.
- Work in environments with elevated noise levels.
- Safely handle and work around chemicals, dust, and maintenance-related materials using appropriate protective equipment.
- Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of:
- Basic carpentry techniques and tools.
- Computer hardware, cabling, and networking systems.
- Safe work practices, maintenance procedures, and equipment operation.
- Ability to:
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of facility and equipment issues.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage multiple priorities and complete assignments efficiently.
- Build positive working relationships with team members across the organization.
