Royal Canin's Supply Chain team is looking for a Logistic Operation Manager. for its Distribution/Transportation field.

As our future Associate, you will lead the logistics roadmap, working with internal teams and external partners to boost service quality, reduce costs, and increase network flexibility—while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. You will ensure customer satisfaction, drive overall factory performance, and act as the main contact for our logistics providers, leading the strategy to optimize logistics costs.

What are we looking for?

  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Level in Logistics field

  • Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 5 years to 10 years)

  • Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes

  • Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

  • Ability to remain resilient and effective in challenging situations

  • You are fluent in English and French

  • Systems Knowledge: advance level in Microsoft (excel, power point, outlook, etc), ERP knowledges


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • You’ll achieve specific goals for area of responsibility by working within an established supplier management plan or finding ways to improve it.

  • You’ll deliver small-scale or medium-scale projects while working within an established program management plan.

  • You’ll manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage more important client and customer relationships.

  • You’ll work within established knowledge management systems to deliver pre-set outcomes for area of responsibility.

  • You’ll provide operational support services and sometimes act as first-line supervisor of a transactional operations area. Involves using existing systems and protocols.

  • You’ll develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities, while also coaching others as required.

  • You'll strictly ensure security protocol, especially regarding transport operations on the site.

  • You'll manage your budget activity and have to optimize financial performance of the logistics operations.

  • You'll ensure compliance with food quality standards, working closely with external stakeholders to uphold hygiene and quality requirements.

  • You'll lead functional and cross-functional team management, including project leadership and providing support to other teams’ projects.

  • You 'll work in a make to order environment.
