The Europe Raw material SQA Officer ensures the quality, food safety and legality of his/her portfolio in compliance with the Corporate Standards, the Innovation roadmap and the need of continuously improve existing baseline.
What are we looking for?
A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Agronomy, Quality, Engineering or similar technical field.
A first experience in a technical area such as purchasing, quality assurance, laboratory, or food engineering.
A successful first experience in the FMCG sector industry.
Languages: Fluent English and French is essential.
Mobility: willingness to travel providers up to 20% of your time.
Tools: knowledges in Nexus, Veritas or RCLMS.
Strong communication skills with hability to influence stackholders.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Assure quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance of a portfolio of low and medium risk Raw materials supplied to the manufacturing sites by implementing MQM Standard
Shape the data environment to measure and report proper metrics for Raw materials and Standards in Europe, in order to confirm the efficiency of the actions taken, give visibility on SQA contribution to the Business, demonstrate compliance to Corporate Standards.
Assess and validate supplier capabilities to meet Mars & Royal Canin Standards and specifications through the risk assessments, supplier evaluation, audits and deployment of qualification plans including trials organization with factories in scope.
Anticipate and manage effectively quality exceptions and non-conformances to minimize business impact
Support Business continuity, continuous improvement and do it best initiatives of the portfolio in scope, by partnering with Regional Sourcing, Operations, Suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Be the key user for quality Raw materials systems
Coordinate internal quality audit / review for the Europe commercial team
Coordinate regulatory projects for Europe SQA Team
Develops expertise in the Region to support internal and external stakeholders
