Job Purpose:

The role is directly responsible and accountable for site assets, corrective preventive and autonomous maintenance activities in addition to spare parts warehouse accountability to ensure lines availability and reliability.

His/her scope covers factory production lines and utilities areas, provides support to different factory functions during normal operations as SES and Q&FS. Plays a vital role during different projects phases: design, installation, commissioning and projects handovers.

Covers the Maintenance Lead in case of absence for all VSO matters, decisions, PM Planning & Execution, Reactive Maintenance Activities….etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively and efficiently communicate, facilitate, co-ordinate, and prioritize all electrical maintenance activities within his VS to ensure the maintenance department meets their short- and long-term business commitments.
  • Lead, Plan and Assign resources of all electrical maintenance Activities (Maintenance shifts, lines overhauling…etc.)
  • Sustain and Continually Improve the Operational Performance and Reliability of the Plant Equipment and Utilities
  • Effectively and efficiently deal with breakdowns within his VS, apply analytical tools to resolve root causes to ensure continuous operation
  • Develop and follow operation associates to apply Autonomous maintenance within his scope.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of all Corrective, Preventive and Proactive Maintenance activities and plans for assets based on his scope.
  • Support in activities planning along with TL and site Planner and Scheduler
  • Ensure adherence to plans & Schedule and supervise different planned activities
  • This position also actively participates and contributes to the success of the site reliability improvement program and the continuous improvement teams in operations.
  • Responsible for Leading and Planning of all Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities

Normal Shutdown activities. Weekly / Periodic Maintenance Shifts activities. Production lines Annual Overhauling. Support Facility Management Team in planning and executing Utilities overhauling. Own and develop site Master PM plan. Own and develop site annual Calibration and assaying plans. Own and develop annual Thermographic surveys, Electrical power transmission behavior studies and analysis.

  • Plann / Issue Daily Work Orders for VS team.
  • Lead Small Minor Projects and Value Leadership Initiatives.
  • Support Site Projects and Engineering Teams during Design, Installation and Commissioning Phases for any New Project
  • Coordinate with the Storekeeper to update Spare Parts Specifications, min. & max. Values
  • Comply with ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 through any Process or Document over the Plant Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Monitor Machine History & Scorecards and update Maintenance Strategy & Master Plan accordingly
  • Implement a Safe Environment for both Equipment and Associates and 100% Closure for all Safety Near Misses over the VS Production Facilities and Utilities
  • Comply to the Electrical safety standards and plans
  • Responsible for implementing Quality and Food Safe Environment for the Products through maintain Site CCPs, OPRP’s states and 100% closure for all Q&FS Near Misses raised over the VS
  • Responsible for Triggering and Suppling Technical Solutions for any Chronic Issues
  • Act as a champion to collaborate cross-functionally in Nexus execution for incident reporting, corrective action and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all SRC’s within span of control are adhered to and updated in Datalyzer, correct any deviations and escalate if needed.
  • Ensure FMOS boards are updated and well maintained. Monitor and report TRS plus the Scrap, Rework & Downtimes that related to technical issues. Escalate immediately if any deviation.
  • Support Technical Trainer in coordinating and conducting training to technical team, and prepare the required documentation (SOP’s, OPL’s and work instructions).
  • Drive continuous improvement activities by participating in FRCA and PDCA initiatives.
  • Responsible for automation E-Library update.

Cross functional Teams:

  • This position requires a close working relation with other supply groups particularly the Value Stream organization, SES, Quality Control and Engineering. This to ensure consistent product quality, productivity and safety.
  • Represent the VS Maintenance Team in Daily Connection Points.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • B.SC. in Electrical engineering

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance preferably in FMCG
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
